Dr. Nirmal (Nim) Patel’s differentiated knowledge of clinical operations, evidence based medicine, team based care and care variation, enable her to develop innovative care delivery systems for hospital systems, and payors. She is a subject matter expert in telehealth, having created first of the kind solutions focused in primary care, dermatology and behavioral health, while using data to show success. Nim developed a unique approach to quality and value measurement for the largest telemedicine platform in the U.S. to drive better outcomes and is experienced in high performing ACO models and development and deployment of innovative population health software for clinical decision support. She participates in nationally renowned boards and leadership councils, as well as advisory boards of venture capital and early stage companies. Nim completed medical school and trained in the UK in primary care, then at Yale in prevention and public health, which is where she received her MPH.
