Living in a (post-)COVID world, we acknowledge that many people are feeling isolated, afraid, and angry with the crises that surround us. It can be easy to get sucked into the abyss of all the problems and issues that our communities face. This year’s Summit is an opportunity to focus on the good that we can bring about through advocacy, allyship, and action in the places we live and work. The Summit brings together students, faculty, staff, and community members in a conscious, interprofessional effort to commit to one another, build up the LGBTQIA & Allies community, and “Light the way!”
